In honor of Benjamin Franklin’s 300th birthday (he was born Jan. 17, 1706), Inquirer photographer Tom Gralish shot more than 500 photos of all things Franklin in the Philadelphia region. In the corner of his right eye, just above a “Franklin Cleaners” sign, you’ll find him sitting on a park bench on the University of Pennsylvania campus. Just along his collar, hunt for the white flower named for him, Franklinia alatamaha. |
| More than 500 different photographs of all-things-Franklin were shot by Inquirer photographer Tom Gralish around Philadelphia in the last year. The photos were processed through Arcsoft PhotoMontage software to build this 1200-image portrait. Zoomify software was used to make this interactive Flash graphic. |
