An 'Unfounded' Complaint
In this report, sex-crimes investigator Elliott Feldman summarized his investigation into teenager Jodi Rimmer's complaint that her therapist had molested her in 1990. Feldman concluded that the allegation was "unfounded," a judgment approved by his supervisors. In 1997, authorities decided that Rimmer had been telling the truth and asked her to testify against the therapist, Stephen A. Batoff.
